Google adds which may possibly be the best feature in Gmail.

Sick of all the promotional or spam email. Not a problem now. Google today released a well-ordered feature for those who like to moderate the number of emails they receive. Google declared today that it’s adding a new “unsubscribe” link at the top of emails in Gmail making it stress-free to unsubscribe from mailing lists.

Most of us have searched for the unsubscribe button in an email that marketers often conceal at the lowermost and making it difficult to find. Making the unsubscribe option easy to find is a victory for everyone .Some users might have observed the feature progressing out in past weeks, but it look as if Google has now made it live for all.

This doesn't work for all types of email. Obviously, it only works for those that take account of an Unsubscribe link in the first place, but Google also records that the feature depends on Gmail’s new default filters: emails found in the Promotions, Social, or Forums tabs.

Google points out that this not only inspires users to keep their inbox mess-free, but it also helps the writers of the content: “For email senders, their mail is less probable to be marked as spam.” Conversely, we would suggest that if you didn’t subscribe to a mailing list but you’re still getting emails anyway, then mark them spam to have a clean inbox.

Google Hires a Team of Hackers for Project Zero to Protect the Internet

Google wishes to make the Internet a safer place, so Google hires a team of hackers to protect the internet and to kill some of the biggest bugs creeping around within the Internet as a part of a new project named "Project Zero." Yup, Google is employing full-time team to find bugs in software made by other companies.

The Project Zero team plans to reduce the number of people affected by targeted attacks and kill bugs like Heartbleed before it gets big.

Chris Evans, a member of Google's security research team, wrote in an official blog post. “you should be able to use the web without fear that a criminal or state-sponsored actor is exploiting software bugs to infect your computer, steal secrets or monitor your communications.” He said that the team’s mainly an unselfish project, though there are some obvious profits for Google.

First, they’ll set-up with some dangerously talented folks on team. People like George Hotz a.k.a GeoHot. George Hotz cracked the PS3, unlocked the iPhone, and just finished building a really simple root utility for the Galaxy S5. Geogre has allegedly agreed to join Project Zero, where he’ll unite with Google security expert Tavis Ormandy.

You may not be familiar with Ormandy’s name, but he’s to blame for finding some impressive zero-day bugs in the past. In 2010, he in particular held Microsoft’s feet to the fire and gave them just 5 days to issue a fix for a bug in Windows XP. When they didn’t, he posted the exploit code online where it was rapidly used up by bad actors and used to negotiate PCs by means of a hacked website. He’s story includes the account of several other bugs since in less controversial manner, in apps varying from Sophos Antivirus to Windows 7.

Other team members consist of New Zealand’s Ben Hawkes and Britain’s Ian Beer, both highly-respected experienced person in the security scene. They’ll be given a very long harness and allowed to work on “anything that our researchers decide is a worthwhile investment.”

Apart from fetching new talent to the company, Project Zero will also profit Google by improving the complete security of the Internet and making users sense more comfort surfing online. Keeping users safe and happy online means more time spent posting updates, watching videos, clicking ads, and shopping and those are all things that produce data and revenue for Google.

Google Play overtakes the AppleApp Store with downloads now 25% higher, and app revenue that is gradually overtaking Apple’s sales. The increase is caused by international markets. This is a massive change, in July of this year Google Play had a momentous lead in app downloads, but only had 20 percent of Apple’s app store revenue.

More individuals may use the cheaper Android devices, but until now, a big amount of the income from mobile devices came from Apple. The major difference between Apple’s iPhone users and Google’s Android Phone user is that Apple users downloaded more apps across the board.  iOS users pay more for apps in the app store than Android users do in Play Store.

That may change reasonably in a little while. Regardless of the fact that users pay far less for Android devices, Android’s 80 % market share is lashing up app revenue growth. The Google Play Store mobile app revenue will grab hold of Apple’s App Store in 2018 according to Radio FreeMobile analyst Richard Windsor.
Not only will Android probably overtake Apple by 2018, if the information is correct Google may take over the lower income market that can’t afford Apple products. If you’re a tech-geek you know that Android as been catching up Apple. Even though nearly every company that release downloadable apps for phones usually release them for iOS first, but they are rapid to release an app with the same features to Google Play.

One of the things that is likely to be shown at Google I/O 2014 in just a few hours is a preview of the next upgrade of Android

Next version of Android apparently confirmed as Google Android 5.0 Lollipop.
(Note: not an official picture of Google Android 5.0 Lollipop.)

While we are unsure that is Google has been delicately hinting that the version number will be a nice round 5.0, we don’t really know what the name of Android 5.0 is going to be in spite of the fact we know it will start with the letter “L”. Nevertheless, just hours before the keynote is to be delivered at I/O, Bulgarian tech insider Nixanbal has said that it has it on good power that the Next version of Android apparently confirmed as Google Android 5.0 Lollipop.

There’s not any further information about the genuine software besides the actual name, however we are expecting Google to be modify the Android interface to some extent, if only of the core Google apps. Rumor has it that Sundar Pichai, head of Android, will be giving a promo of Android 5.0 as part of his crucial delivery, and while it doesn’t appear ready for bulk consumption, should give us a pretty good idea of what to expect in the near future

So, you would like to work for Google, hmm? You’ve heard concerning their high pay, remarkable benefits and distinctive corporate culture and now you would like to Work for Google. Well, you are not unaccompanied. Google receives a lot of job applications; in actual fact, in one week only they reported being sent over 75,000 of them. The question is, in the middle of this firm competition, how can you set yourself away from others and get yourself a dream job? What does Google look for in their possible new hires?

Here are 7 things Google looks for in their workforce:

1. Cognitive skill Is appreciated Above All Else

Cognitive skill does not mean IQ. Google is searching for those with the capability to learn new things. They crave for people who can process data on the fly and get used quickly to new situations.

Google uses a cautiously designed and carefully tested behavioural interview process to assess a candidate’s cognitive skills. To train for such an interview, consider doing some imaginative thinking puzzles which force you to resolve problems through outside-the-box thinking.

2. Evolving Leadership

Google values evolving leadership over usual leadership. This means that they would rather see an example of where you took the lead on your own inventiveness, as opposed to hearing that you were class president or team leader. They want to see that you can show the way without being assigned to fulfil such a role, and, almost more significantly, that you are okay with relinquishing that authority when it is suitable to do so. Google is very team-oriented, and in many ways avoids a usual employee chain of command. They want people who can move in and out of leadership positions on the fly.

3. Humbleness

Google wants people who are confident in their abilities, but humble enough to know when to yield to a better idea. Lazlo Bock, Google’s senior vice president of people operations, put it this way: “You need a big ego and small ego in the same person at the same time.” You must be able to acknowledge and learn from your failures.

4. Ownership

Google wants employees who take ownership over the tasks they are assigned; those who are passionate about resolving problems and pushing the company forward. They feel a sense of responsibility which drives them to conquer obstacles. In other words, they do not want people who view working for them as just a paycheck, they want people who see their work as an extension of themselves.

5. Expertise

According to Bock, while expertise is vital, especially for more technical positions, it is actually the least significant of the qualities that they look for in an perfect candidate. Often a so-called “expert” will, when presented with a problem, default to the way they have always done things, as opposed to trying new techniques. Google prefers those that can show off their expertise in ground-breaking ways.

6. Deeds ahead of Your Degree

Bock said that the “proportion of people without any college education at Google has increased over time.” In fact, on some Google teams, up to 14% of the members do not possess college degrees. He went on to add, “G.P.A.’s are worthless as a criteria for hiring, and test scores are worthless…We found that they don’t predict anything.”

Obviously , none of this is to say that good grades and a relevant college degree are not important in landing a job at Google, especially since many positions there need advanced math, computing and coding skilfulness. It is just to say that while these things are a great initial point, Google doesn’t consider that they tell the whole story.

 7. Demonstrate, Don’t Say

Google desires to see what you can create. For example, If you are a programmer, you are more probable to get a job by showcasing your code itself than by rolling off your remarkable work history or industry certifications. They want to see obvious examples of your expertise, like an open source project that you contributed code to or an innovative approach you took to a difficult project. Ultimately, if you say you know how to do something, you’d better be geared up to back that up.

Google is looking away from usual qualifications and searching for those that know how to innovate, learn and work efficiently within a team. If you think that you’ve got what it takes, then don’t hesitate to apply for your dream job. Even if your sights are set somewhere else, showcasing these qualities will help you to be a more eye-catching candidate in any job hunt.

Remember the well-liked Phonebloks? We were inspired by the Phonebloks concept phone that had the ability to switch out a phone’s components the way most users change ringtones. Well, people over at Google and Motorola decided to make the concept bigger and came up with a brilliant new phone, Called Project Ara.
Soon after the official announcement about Lenovo’s getting hold of of Motorola while Project Ara was still only in conceptual phase, a word got out on the fate of the Project Ara modular phone. Motorola’s Advanced Technology group which developed the device, as well as its patents will remain with Google and we would positively love to see a customised phone.
Thus Phonebloks is Now a reality Called Project Ara by Google

Project Ara, the advanced Technology and Products group is working with Phonebloks creator Dave Hakkens on an "endoskeleton (endo) and modules." Announced about 3 months ago on the company blog by Paul Eremenko, the company says it's already "done deep technical work" and is opening the process up to the community and volunteers (aka Ara Scouts, sign up here) to commence n designing hardware modules. Its known goal is to do for hardware what it says Android has done for software: create a vibrant third-party developer ecosystem, lower the barriers to entry, increase the speed of innovation, and considerably compress development timelines."

Suggestions for modules include the phone's CPU, display, extra battery, external sensors or whatever thing anyone can think of. The timeline at present points to a Module Developer's Kit (MDK) release this winter, while those volunteers can expect an exclusive discount when the product launches and the 100 most active are getting free phones. Hakkens has described his design as a "phone worth keeping" -- with the capability to upgrade piece by piece and (optimistically) never experience obsolescence again we'd call this idea a phone certainly worth building.

According to people well-known with the subject, the division behind Project Ara will be integrated within the Android team at Google. The team of approximately one hundred people will make a short trip to relocate from Sunnyvale to Google’s offices in Mountain View, California.

Going forward, work on Project Ara will pick up the pace using Google’s extensive resources. We will be keeping a close observation on any kind of development.

According to Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Apple should build a smartphone that supports Android. In an interview with Wired, Wozniak said that "there’s nothing that would keep Apple away from the Android market as a secondary phone market," believing the company could fight very well with other Android manufacturers.

"People like the precious looks of styling and manufacturing that we do in our product compared to the other Android offerings. We could play in two arenas at the same time", he stated further.
Wozniak is no longer indulged with the routine operations at Apple, so even though his opinions on an Android-powered smartphone are appealing, it's very doubtful it will ever happen. If Apple were to enter another smartphone market, perhaps at the low-end, it would more or less certainly run iOS like all other iPhones.

Regardless of his thoughts on wanting Android on an Apple smartphone, Wozniak believes Apple is still at the front position of phone growth. In his eyes, Apple is still an innovative company, particularly as it doesn't simply fill up new features into each iPhone and iOS modification. “You pick up a Samsung phone and say smile and it takes a picture, but how much innovation is that? That’s just throwing in a lot of features.”
Wozniak also has motivating thoughts on an Apple TV or smart watch, the film 'Her', and Moore's Law, so you should head over to Wired to read the full interview.

Installing BusyBox on Non-Rooted Android Devices seemed impossible but after few searches on Google play store I found an application which permits you to install Busybox on Non-Rooted Android Devices! As my many friends found it complex to use those apps I considered of sharing this trick with all my readers. So Let’s get start with this!

If you have a rooted Android device, then your device's generation is ahead of non-rooted Android device. But as in reality, bulk amount of Android users are having non-rooted phones. And definitely this puts a limit on the opportunity to use BusyBox on your device. To crack this problem, developers came up with app called as " BusyBox on Non-Rooted Android".

For those who doesn’t know about busybox :-

Busybox permits you to use added or additional Linux commands  on your phone . BusyBox gives many stripped-down Unix tools in a executive file(single File). It runs in a multiple number of POSIX environments such as Linux (including Android), FreeBSD and others, such as kernels, even though many of the tools it provides are intended to work with interfaces provided by the Linux kernel..!

Now Coming back to main discussion “How To Install BusyBox on Non-Rooted Android Devices “
I made this tutorial into 2 parts Test them:-

1. Before Starting, You will Need:-

An Android device running on version 1.6 or superior.
BusyBox Non-Root app on your device (Play Store link).

2. After Installing BusyBox Non-Root app on your non-rooted device:-

Start the app.
Click on “Install BusyBox” to download and install all BusyBox binary Files.
Once it is installed, click on the BusyBox location and it will duplicate the path to your clipboard to make it simple for you to get to them.
Then Open your Terminal and change directory to the path you have copied.

Phonebloks, The Phone of Future.

So here i am back with my blog,i was somewhat busy with my mid-term submissions in college.
Engineering is not so easing, the practicals, the submissions, exams, viva, man this really sucks sometimes.
Now leaving all those not so important things aside we should continue to our post. Recently Apple unveiled the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. iPhone 5s has a promising future technology of fingerprint scanner which may prove a milestone in the mobile technology, but is this the phone of future, I don’t believe so.  Do you want to know what is the phone of future, if yes, keep reading.

Meet PhonebloksThe Phone of Future.

Have a look at the video at the end of post.(Strictly Recommended).
Phonebloks is made of removable bloks. You can connect the bloks to the base which puts everything together into a brand new solid phone. If a blok gets damage you can easily replace it, if it's out dated then you can just upgrade it. Impressive huh!

Phoneblocks is somewhat an eco-friendly future phone which is based on a really simple concept: we are wasting too much when it comes to gadgets,  A usual phone lasts only a few years before it becomes out dated or it breaks. Many a times it's just one part which wasted the phone, because either its almost impossible to repair or updgrade or very expensive.
As a result, we're throwing away mobile phones in big amount, which can harm our environment big time.
So What’s the solution for this, Make The Way For Phonebloks
Instead of replacing your whole phone just because the camera is not working anymore or the screen got cracked while you phone slipped out of your hand, Phonebloks allows you to just buy a replacement part and keep the rest of the phone that is working up to your mark.

This Phone also has huge ways for future upgrades.
Instead of throwing out the iPhone 5 to upgrade to the iPhone 5c or the iPhone 5s, for example, just buy the new processor from Apple and a cool new coloured case. Rather than sticking to a 41-megapixel, Nokia Lumia 1020 camera, just buy one blok and stick it onto the base.
And the best part is, You can totally customise your own smart phone : Every device will be the same but different in their own manners. Don’t care about storage customise to a bigger battery. Want more Speed and less camera,Buy a better blok for processor! And there infinite options.
It's a simple yet brilliant concept, but unfortunately, it's really a challenge for the mobile providers.
It means that all the providers must first need to agree on a standard for making phones are universal unlike iPhone 5s using nano SIM where everyone else is using a micro SIM.
It would also require providers to surrender their uniqueness, which companies like Apple pride themselves on.
I pray that the concept of Phoneblocks remains out there long enough that it can be a company itself, rather than trying to bring all providers under one roof which is almost impossible.
When the Phonebloks becomes a reality I will definitely go for it.
